New session on Blue One Health by AirCenter in their great program of networking Fridays.

On January 24th, 2025, from 1:00- 2:00 PM UTC we will have a special session on Blue One Health concept. This webinar will explore the critical yet often overlooked role of marine ecosystems in the One Health framework. While One Health traditionally emphasizes the interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health, the ocean’s vital contribution to planetary well-being remains underrepresented. We’ll examine how Blue One Health emerges as an innovative approach to bridge this gap, offering practical tools for monitoring and improving health outcomes across marine, coastal, and inland environments.

The session will highlight how Blue One Health aligns with key global initiatives, including the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development and SDG 14, while addressing the challenge of changing humanity’s relationship with the ocean. Learn how this framework can strengthen Ocean Culture and create more effective, integrated health strategies for both marine and terrestrial ecosystems.

Join us to discover how Blue One Health can transform our understanding of global health interconnections and drive a more comprehensive conservation and recovery practice for our planet’s largest ecosystem.
